LANSING –The Great Lakes Education Project (GLEP) today congratulated the men and women elected to serve  the next term in the state House of Representatives, including 50 individuals who’d received  GLEP’s endorsement this fall.

“The Great Lakes Education Project is proud and excited that voters in every corner of the state elected men and women willing to stand up for Michigan’s kids,” said GLEP Executive Director Beth DeShone.  “GLEP backed candidates who know that every child is different and that they deserve schools that put them first, not the education bureaucracy. We look forward to working with each of these leaders to promote educational freedom for students, teachers and families across Michigan.”
